Color Selection

How happy you are with the final results begins with selecting the right colors for your house. Looking at a color sample on a card is just the beginning. In order to really know if you will like the color when it's completed is to actually put samples on the house so that you can see it in sunlight and in contrast to any brick or stone you may have.

That's why at Persnickety Painting, we cover the cost of all sample colors that you purchase to get the color just right. Just keep the receipts and it will be deducted from the total on completion!

Priming

Next we prime any bare wood or problem areas to make sure that the new paint has a perfect surface.

Scraping and Sanding

Loose paint is scraped and then sanded to insure a solid surface for the paint and primer to adhere to.

Power Washing

Every Persnickety Painting paint job begins with power washing the surface. Power washing is not intended to remove all loose or peeling paint. We do it to remove dirt and cobwebs that have accumulated over the years.

A clean surface will provide the perfect conditions for maximum paint adhesion!

Caulking

Next we caulk all cracks around windows, doors, and trim, and fill nail holes using the highest quality caulking.

Finish Coats

Finally we apply 2 finish coats of a premium Sherwin Williams paint to make your project come alive!

Applying multiple coats of premium paints makes for a paint job that will last and look beautiful for years to come!
